About Us
Welcome to the Medical Association of Namibia (MAN).
The Medical Association of Namibia (MAN) is a voluntary professional association established in 1990, representing registered medical doctors practicing across Namibia. With a legacy spanning over four decades, we are committed to advancing the medical profession and improving healthcare in Namibia.
As the leading body for medical professionals in Namibia, we aim to foster a dynamic healthcare environment where both practitioners and patients thrive. Over the years, we have maintained a strong relationship with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, working together to contribute to Vision 2030. Our role is not just about advocating for doctors; it’s about improving the healthcare system for all Namibians through education, collaboration, and legislative support.

Advocacy and Representation
We represent the medical community in legislative matters and medico-legal issues, ensuring that the voice of the medical profession is heard at all levels of government.

Professional Development
Our commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) includes hosting the annual MAN Congress and certifying CPD events for all members to ensure their skills remain current and relevant.

Bridging the Gap
We work tirelessly to bridge the divide between the state and private healthcare sectors, addressing issues such as CPD, medical aid funds, and government healthcare initiatives.
